itsowl-TT-FuSens: Support for lifecycle management of process sensors through integrated radio-based communication

Today's process sensors of the transfer project partner do not provide a user-friendly interface for parameterization or monitoring. In addition, the sensors are physically difficult to reach after installation due to their physically limited environment. In this transfer project, integration strategies for a radio-based communication architecture based on the results from the cross-sectional project "Intelligent Networking" are therefore being developed and evaluated. The goal is to simplify the parameterization of the sensors in a prototypical implementation (>30% reduction in time required), to reduce the costs per sensor by >20%, and to obtain real-time data regarding downtimes for life cycle management.
