LevitatingGlobe: Technologiedemonstrator eines mechatronischen Systems mit dezentraler Echtzeitverarbeitung für Forschung und Lehre
Future automation systems are characterized by an increasing degree of decentralization with simultaneous real-time capable interaction of the subsystems involved.
Within the scope of a joint project of the departments "Control Engineering & Mechatronics (RtM)" and "Network Engineering (netLAB)", the real-time processing of distributed subsystems was therefore methodically analyzed, designed and implemented on the basis of a mechatronic example system. For this purpose, a control-unstable process in the form of a floating sphere with a correspondingly decentralized arrangement of sensors, actuators and real-time processing unit was realized. The technology demonstrator is to be used not only in research activities but also in master's degree courses.
