itsowl-IASI: Intelligente Antriebs- und Steuerungstechnik für die energieeffiziente Intralogistik
01.10.2012 bis 30.09.2015
The energy consumption of electric drive systems used in intralogistics has not been in the foreground so far, as the additional investment did not pay off on paper compared to the energy savings of previously available equipment. Due to megatrends such as globalization and mega cities, the demand for logistics will steadily increase, so that "Green Logistics" will be a must for future products.
The objective of the project is that for each drive technology application required in an intralogistics system, e.g. a warehouse, it will be possible in the future to determine from a variance of technical solutions the one that demonstrably consumes the least electrical energy at a fixed cost in advance.
