Test generation from functional 3D virtual environment models

In this presentation we present our research prototype which extends the potential of ABB’s Robot Studio commercial tool in terms of automated test generation for testing industrial production systems. In this work, we use fully functional 3D virtual production floor models as basis for automated test generation. Such a solution is currently unavailable in the industial automation domain.
