The event "Work Thinking" with invited guests at the Soho House in Berlin dealt with the questions: Where does this development lead to? What will technology be able to do in the future - and what not? The moderation of the event was taken over by Eva Schmidt, known among others from the 3Sat TV macro. In addition to the technological advances and their impact on the work of tomorrow, topic like basic income and robot tax for financing the social system was discussed controversially.

(Berlin, February 2017) In the age of digitization and automation, robots and systems based on algorithms take up more and more people's work. NRW's Minister of Economic Affairs, Garrelt Duin, technical philosopher Mads Pankow and Prof. Dr. Jürgen Jasperneite from the Research Institute for Industrial Information Technology (inIT) of the OWL University of Applied Sciences and the Fraunhofer Application Center for Industrial Automation (IOSB-INA) in Lemgo discussed the change of the working world by artificial intelligence and robots, and what developments are still to come.
