With 25,000 members the GMA sees itself as a shaper of measurement and automation technology, in particular in the field of digital transformation. With its work, the GMA makes a significant contribution to the further development of measurement and automation technologies and to the dissemination of knowledge about the modern techniques used in this field today. At present, about 1,000 engineers work in the eight departments with about 75 committees on a voluntary base. One focus topic of the GMA will be the field of Autonomous Systems.
Election of the Scientific advisory board of the Association for Measurement and Automation Technology (GMA)
Professor Jürgen Jasperneite, head of the Fraunhofer IOSB-INA and member of the board of the Institute for Industrial Information Technology of the OWL University, has now been appointed to the scientific advisory board of the Association for Measurement and Automation Technology (GMA) of the Association of German Engineers (VDI).
