With six papers Fraunhofer IOSB-INA and the Institute Industrial IT (inIT) presented their current work in the field of the industrial Internet. The IEEE WFCS is the most important international conference in the field of Industrial Communications, one of the research focuses of inIT and Fraunhofer IOSB-INA. Within the scope of the research projects HiFlecs, FIND, TACNET4.0, FlexSi-Pro as well as ADIMA the research groups of the two institutes around Professor Jürgen Jasperneite are working on approaches of the monitoring and management of complex and heterogeneous industrial networks. The Lemgo scientists were themselves organizers of the 2012 edition of this conference (WFCS2012).
Strong team from Lemgo at IEEE conference in Italy
From 13 to 15 June 2018, the IEEE International Workshop on Factory Communication Systems (WFCS) took place in Imperia, Italy. A research team led by Professor Jürgen Jasperneite represented inIT and Fraunhofer IOSB-INA at the conference.
