On 14th and 15th of November the annual conference "Communication in Automation" takes place, this time in Magdeburg. This forum on all technical-scientific questions concerning industrial communications will be held for the 8th time, alternatively in Lemgo and Magdeburg. The event is supported by the ITG and the Society for Computer Science. The Program Committee and Expert has selected 24 papers of the submitted contributions. The program can be found in the appendix. The conference chairs Prof. U. Jumar and Prof. J. Jasperneite are delighted about the high quality of the contributions and hope on a lively participation in the state capital Magdeburg in November.
