Institute for Industrial Information Technology (inIT) involved in the 5G ACIA

Arne Neumann confirmed in office. The Institute for Industrial Information Technology (inIT) is a committed member of the "5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G-ACIA)", a working group of ZVEI; one of the most important industrial associations in Germany.

The primary goal of 5G-ACIA is to ensure the best possible applicability of 5G technology in industry and the consideration of industry interests in 5G standardization.

Arne Neumann, research associate at inIT, was currently re-elected as vice-chair of 5G-ACIA's Working Group 5.

Working Group 5 (Validation and Testing) is concerned with the final validation of 5G for industrial applications. This includes the initiation of interoperability tests, major studies and certification procedures.
