The participating partners, including InnoZent OWL e.V., the Technical University of Ilmenau, NUROMEDIA GmbH, Lufthansa Industry Solutions GmbH and the Institute for Industrial Information Technology (inIT) at the Technical University of Ostwestfalen-Lippe (TH-OWL), gathered to discuss details about the develop project content. The physical gathering provided the opportunity for a deeper understanding of the individual perspectives and enabled a more in-depth exploration of the project goals.
A key aspect of the meeting was the use of the Lego Serious Play method to exchange and discuss ideas for the research project. Under the direction of Lukas Dalhoff from InnoZent OWL e.V., the partners visualized their individual and joint visions interactively with Lego building blocks. This approach enabled the participants to develop a mutual understanding of roles, to make abstract concepts tangible and to communicate complex ideas in a playful way.
The meeting offered the partners the opportunity to get to know each other in person away from the virtual platforms and to deepen relationships. In informal talks and discussions, common interests and synergies between the partners could be identified, which could promote future cooperation opportunities and innovative approaches in the project. "The DeSiRe-NG project aims to develop radio-based communication networks for advanced manufacturing systems that are intelligent, resilient and sustainable," explains project leader Trsek. The first meeting of the partners in the SmartFactory OWL made an important contribution to furthering this goal by providing the space for an intensive exchange of ideas and in-depth strategic planning. The partnership promises to deliver game-changing solutions for the next-generation manufacturing industry.
