7th Colloquium „Communication in Automation – KommA“ on 30. November 2016
The colloquium established itself as a forum for all technical/scientific issues in the field of Industrial Communication. The event is organized by the Magdeburg Institute for Automation and Communication (ifak e.V.) and Institute Industrial IT (inIT). As always chosen topics and speakers are of high quality. The thematic focus is set on communication systems, system analyses and concepts of communication system, aspects of embedded real-time-systems and their scope in automation.
Prof. D. Schotten of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence GmbH (DFKI) will be this year’s key note lecturer with the topic: “5G meets Industrial Communications”.
5th Annual Colloquium “Image Processing in Automation – BVAu” on 1st December 2016
Institute Industrial IT (inIT) and GET Lab of Paderborn University jointly organize this year’s colloquium “Image Processing in Automation” (BVAu). In the context of the initiative “Industrial Image Processing OWL” the colloquium devotes itself to industrial image processing systems with the main focus set on Industry 4.0, technical aspects of image processing, latest trends of image processing and pattern recognition for real-time-systems as well as their areas of application. Dipl.-Phys. Bernd Stöber (Stemmer Imaging GmbH) will be the key note lecturer with the topic “Multispectral-Imaging. New Methods and Technologies for Inspection, Analysis and Diagnosis in the Field of Maschinery and Plant Engineering, for Comestibles and in Medicine”.
