His Paper „Inference Methods for Detecting the Root Cause of Alarm Floods in Causal Models“ was awarded with the Young Author Prize. Thematically it is about different inference methods for the detection of error causes that support the plant operators in fault cases and protect them from an alarm/information overload.
The paper was published within the framework of the research project ADIMA (Adaptives Assistenzsystem für die Instandhaltung intelligenter Maschinen und Anlagen). Several research groups from inIT together with partners from industry work on the project. Its goal: Future-oriented technologies should facilitate the maintenance work of complex plants with the help of intelligent assistant systems.
