Ms. Frauke Wiegräbe has been working as a research assistant since November 2019, initially in the Mathematics & Authentication working group and moved to the Discrete Systems working group in 2024. Her research interests focus on the needs and requirements of professional actors and caregiving relatives in the context of the participatory technology development process.
In this context, Ms. Wiegräbe supported the development of a digital tool for family caregivers to relieve the burden of the care situation in the work&care funding project. The DigiHelpCare system serves as a support tool for family caregivers, particularly in the context of an individual initial assessment of the care situation.
She is currently working on the research project “ISy-Care integrated socio-technical systems for user-centered care” in the field of digital medical and healthcare technology. The aim of the funded project is, on the one hand, to achieve a better quality of life for people with support and rehabilitation needs through the use of socio-technical innovations and, on the other hand, to tailor the patient journey through the healthcare system in order to improve the care situation in a targeted manner.
Ms. Wiegräbe is also a co-founder of the regional Parkinson's network PNOWL +, which focuses on new therapeutic approaches and interprofessional care for people with Parkinson's disease.
