Eileen Wemmer

After graduating with a degree in Computer Science, Eileen Wemmer researched at Fraunhofer IAO for a year before joining inIT as a doctoral student in June 2024.

In her research, she focuses on the interaction between humans and AI with a focus on human well-being, particularly in AI mediated communication. She draws on self-determination theory and the basic psychological needs it describes.

She is currently open to supervising students with an interest in human-AI interaction for theses and research projects.
