Carsten Röcker

Carsten Röcker is a member of the Executive Board of the Institute Industrial IT (inIT) and professor for Human-Technology Interaction at TH OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts. From 2019 to 2014, he was the Vice-Director of the institute. He also serves as a scientific advisor to the Fraunhofer Institute of Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation (IOSB-INA) and is member of the board of directors of InnoZent OWL. In addition, he is a member of the Graduate Institute OWL as well as the Graduate School for Applied Research in North Rhine-Westphalia. He is author/editor of 8 books and over 150 journal and conference papers and serves a regular reviewer for national and international funding agencies, journals and conferences. His current research interests revolve around intelligent assistance systems, human-computer interaction and technology acceptance.
