HardIP: Image Processing and Pattern Recognition with hardware-based Algorithms and Implementation

In the inhouse project HardIP algorithms for image processing and pattern recognition are analyzed in the context of inplementability and hardware effectivity regarding an implementation on FPGAs and GPUs. One main focus is based on problem-adapted classification with fuzzy models. Multidimensional classification can be applied in many industrial inspection tasks. The key features are based on human-centric classification behaviour.
